Styrene Butadiene Rubber is a synthetic rubber developed as an alternative to Natural Rubber. SBR Rubber Sheet is made by blending SBR rubber with other chemicals and materials to create a rubber sheet with specific properties and characteristics.

Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) has good abrasion resistance and an excellent impact and cut-and-gouge resistance. It can be compounded to use as skirtboard rubber, lining rubber, conveyor belt covers, tires and other extremely demanding applications. It is frequently used as a low cost general purpose gasket material.

SBR should not be used in applications involving strong acids, grease and chlorates. SBR offers little resistance to ozone and the majority of hydrocarbons.
